My third big love is to read and write. Right now I'm studying literature, and to compensate for the at times rather "heavy" reading list I read a lot of fan fiction. No, that's not completely true. I read fan fiction long before I started studying literature, and I would still read it even if I had chosen another subject at uni. Well-written, good fan fiction = awesome. In my personal opinion it's the best thing on the web. I've collected some of my favourite good fan fics in the fan fiction archive - feel free to take a look at my eclectic choice in fandoms. Bad fan fiction ... is my guilty pleasure. The worse, the better, if you pardon the contradiction. I read it out loud and laugh and point, and it makes me feel like the best writer in the universe.
I want to stress, though, that I never ridicule the bad fan fiction writers to their faces (or other body parts, for that matter) - but I do share some quotes with my friends. I know this sounds a bit bitchy, but I don't care. They put their work on the net for people to read and review. I could've left a nasty review, but don't. I just laugh in the comfort of my own home. Yeah, I know, still sounds bad, but guess what? I don't have cable, I have to make my own fun.
Okay, with all that out of the way... I can't think of anything more to add that would be even remotely relevant. Not that any of this is relevant, really, but hey. I doubt that anyone read this far anyway.
